THE CHALLENGE
The Digital Delivery group of a water authority needed to increase their resilience to change and enhance their ability to scale in preparation for a planned amalgamation program. The group had identified inefficiencies in their operations, including significant management overheads. They were also not delivering effectively enough to ensure a greater return on investment. To address these issues, it was essential to prepare teams for migration and improve the quality of prioritisation discussions with stakeholders.
THE SOLUTION
ADAPTOVATE collaborated with the Digital Delivery team and designed a work item hierarchy, configuring Jira Align to meet the client’s ways of working. They delivered a technical integration between Jira Align and Jira Software to provide transparency in value delivery. ADAPTOVATE also developed and delivered training for leaders on how to run meetings, plan, deliver, and manage dependencies more effectively using Jira Align. They embedded Jira Align as the single source of truth in managing programs of work by coaching on how to build and communicate development roadmaps.
