The ARES-PCJ regulates and supervises sanitation services in the associated cities, looking for balance the relationships between public interests, service providers and users. ARES-PCJ is to ensure compliance with the objectives of local planning, as well as fix, adjust and review fees and charges and setting service quality standards.
