Water Services protects public health and the environment by providing safe, high-quality drinking water, managing stormwater, and collecting and treating wastewater for Calgary and neighbouring communities. The service operates and maintains much of the City’s critical infrastructure, including treatment plants, reservoirs, laboratories, and approximately 15,000 km of water, wastewater, and stormwater pipes, while ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable service delivery.
