City of Tampa Water Department

The City of Tampa Water Department is committed to providing clean, high-quality drinking water throughout its 220-square-mile service area in Florida. The department serves more than 725,000 people who live, work, and play in Tampa, portions of Temple Terrace, and unincorporated Hillsborough County. Its water treatment facility has a peak daily production capacity of up to 120 million gallons, and the department maintains more than 2,200 miles of water mains across its distribution system.
