Toronto Water is responsible for providing services to Toronto residents and businesses including water treatment and supply; wastewater collection and treatment; and stormwater management. The division maintains and services assets worth approximately $90 billion, some of which includes four water and four wastewater treatment plants, approximately 6100 kilometers of watermains, 4000 kilometers of sanitary sewers, 4900 kilometers of storm sewers and 1500 kilometers of combined sewers.
