The Ekiti State Water and Sanitation Regulatory Agency (EK-WASRA) was established in March 2021 under Section 56(1) of the Ekiti State Water Law, 2021.

Core Responsibilities: Issuance of licenses to water service providers, Establishment and enforcement of service standards, Tariff regulation and methodology development, Mediation between providers and consumers, Performance monitoring and sector compliance.
