Portland Water Bureau

The Portland Water Bureau has provided water to the Portland area for 128 years and is the largest water supplier in Oregon, serving nearly one million people. Portland has two high-quality sources of water: the Bull Run Watershed (the primary water supply) and the Columbia South Shore Well Field (a backup and supplemental groundwater supply). Bureau staff are deeply committed to the people they serve, and work to advance equity and anti-racism in all parts of their work.
