Savonia University of Applied Sciences Ltd is recognised as an institution of higher education. The other forms of operation include adult education, business, and research and development activities. Savonia’s Environmental Engineering department has been building capacity for over 20 years in the Water Safety. Within this focus area, we have two specialisations: Smart Water and Zero Emission Industry. Savonia is also a leader of the Kuopio Water Cluster (KWC).
