SJWD Water District

SJWD Water District is a special purpose public water utility serving western Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Formally known as Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District, it provides drinking water service across a roughly 128-square-mile area to more than 87,000 residents. Governed by a five-member board of commissioners, SJWD is focused on reliable, affordable water service, innovation, sound financial stewardship, infrastructure investment, and protection of local water resources.
