The Research Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (IIAMA) is a research centre of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, established in 2001 and specialised in teaching and technical advisory in all matters related to the hydrological cycle of water and the environment.

The REDHISP Group of IIAMA has extensive experience in modelling water distribution networks, both for water supply and irrigation. More recently, it has developed with this aim the plugin QGISRed for QGIS
