Vitens is the largest water utility in The Netherlands managing 50.000 km infrastructure and serving 5,6 million customers with highest quality drinking water produced from groundwater. Although we do have a history of over 100 years but still facing several huge challenges, we are also aware of many opportunities. Climate change, circular economy, rapidly changing customer demands, concerns about the quality of our sources are well known examples. To be a front runner in digitalisation and to be able to tackle challenges on ageing staff, reducing non-revenue water and 24/7 autonomous operations we strongly believe in international collaboration and partnerships. For this reason, Vitens is active member of SWAN.
