OVERVIEW
Building on the previous sessions, Part 3 of our Smart Water Networks 101 series dives into Layer 2: Sensing and Control. the foundational elements of any smart water system. “Sensing and Control” contains equipment and meter components which measure different parameters such as flow, pressure, noise, and water quality, as well as remote-controlled devices such as pumps and pressure-reducing valves (PRVs). This layer connects the intelligence of the Smart Water Network to the physical network, enabling smarter, data-driven, and more responsive operations.
