CHART is a collaborative initiative led by the SWAN Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Community to help water and wastewater utilities assess, benchmark, and accelerate their decarbonisation journey.
The first live module, the Carbon Maturity Assessment, is now available. As CHART continues to evolve, we’re inviting utilities, researchers, consultants, and technology providers to help develop future modules, test new features, and ensure the platform remains practical, relevant, and utility-driven.
Where We’re Going
Module 1: Carbon Maturity Assessment – Available now
A practical maturity assessment enabling utilities to evaluate their current decarbonisation capabilities using SWAN’s five-phase maturity framework.
Module 2: Strategic Business Drivers Assessment – Currently under development
Helping utilities understand the organisational, financial, regulatory, operational and technology drivers influencing decarbonisation decisions.
Future Modules
Future releases will expand CHART with additional assessment modules, benchmarking capabilities, and enhanced reporting to provide a more comprehensive view of organisational readiness.
