OVERVIEW
This open access webinar brought timely, global smart metering research to life through two real-world deployments from Florida utilities at very different stages of the AMI journey.
In this collaborative session, the SWAN Forum and GHD unpacked key findings from the Global Smart Metering Playbook — developed in collaboration with the Water Research Foundation and informed by insights from 80 organisations worldwide.
Pace Water Systems and Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) shared first-hand experience from their smart metering deployments, highlighting what worked, what could have been improved, and what they are still navigating. Diverse perspectives from a smaller, community utility and a large urban system showcased how AMI rollout impacted organisations from operations to customer engagement.
